Obituary of Cheryl Engles

On January 25th 2023 Cheryl (Blondie) Engles, born Cheryl Lynn Petersen, one of the most beautiful and loving people the world has ever known, passed away suddenly. She had been battling and making progress with a serious health issue when an unforeseen complication arose and she was taken from us. Cheryl (Blondie) was a strong believer in God and was a blessing in the lives of everyone who ever met her and she will be greatly missed by us all. Blondie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and her absence in our lives will forever be felt by all who knew and loved her. The love she had for her family, her friends and her cats and dogs was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all. Cheryl (Blondie) is survived by her husband Mike (Animal) her Son Joey, step daughters, Ashley and Cheyenne, her sister Kristen (Kristie) McLeod, niece Karlin McLeod, nephew Gregory McLeod, 3 grandchildren Adele, Miriam, and Cora, she was predeceased by her father F. Russell Petersen and mother Gloria Petersen, She was a graduate of Front Range Community College, and she worked at Hope Depot as a merchandiser for the past 7 years.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 9695 Southwest 110th Street, Ocala, 34481
