Obituary of Fredric L. Gutchess

On Dec.17,2022, we lost our beloved husband,father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Fred fought a courageous battle for 2 years with a variety of illnesses. Fred was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 28, 1940 to Wallace and Maud Gutchess.

He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Patricia, son Fritz (Jan), daughter Terri ( King) son Phil (Connie) daughter, Cindi (Eric). Grandchildren; Shylah, Aaron, Taylor, Sam and Charlie. Great grandchildren; Paislee, Parker, Kai, Evie and Henry. Sister Harriet Hinton, brother Henry deceased as well as several nieces and nephews.

Fred was chief Metallurgist for Clark Equipment co, retiring after 42 years of service. He was an avid golfer, loved hunting and fishing, always followed the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Tigers on TV.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Feb. 25, 2023 at 10 A.M. Heirs-Baxley Life Event Center, located at 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162
