Lindsay Hanook Yohan Hanoman was born on February 12th, 1940, to James Edwin Hanoman and Julia (Sukra) Hanoman in Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana.
He was the baby of their 9 children – survived by only one brother, Susil. He is also survived by his wife of 51 years (Joyclin) and his daughter (Julia), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was well known for his sense of humor and loved taking naps with his surrogate grandchildren throughout the years. He also loved being a proficient bowler when he played cricket as a youth and watching westerns – originally in the company of his brothers.

If you would prefer, in lieu of flowers, we would ask that you donate to:
Cates House (formerly Legacy House) - https://www.hospiceofmarion.com/donate
For those who wished to contribute to something in lieu of flowers for the funeral of Lindsay Hanoman , we have also set up a fund through PayPal going towards a memorial brick /paving stone (and, if possible, a birdbath) at the hospice where Dad spent his final days. This is a non-profit hospice where he felt safe, comfortable, and cared for, and the staff were lovely. With the tree memorial through the funeral home, a few have asked where these would be planted, and as they are at different places throughout the country, we decided to have something locally as another option. We will post photos once they are in place.
