Obituary of Ronald Roy Wilkens

Ronald Roy Wilkens, 83, of Belleview, Florida passed away September 23, 2022, at Estelle's Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Arlene Wilkens for 48 years.

Ronald was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of the late William and Mary Wilkens. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement he was a building contractor and worked in the construction field. His loved to spend time with his family, play harmonica and go to Morgan’s Music Junction.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his wife, Arlene R. Wilkens and daughters, Marci Duke and her husband Greg of Summerfield, FL and Ericka Smith of Ocala, FL and son, Christopher Wilkens and his wife Crystal of Summerfield, FL and his brother, John F. Wilkens of Ocala, FL. He was the proud grandfather of Aaron and Abby Duke, Owen and Ashton Smith and Chloe, Claire and Carly Wilkens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Wilkens.

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00PM following the viewing. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL.
