Debbie White Britt

Obituary of Debbie Donna White Britt

Debbie Donna White Britt, 61, of Silver Springs, Florida joined her mother in Heaven on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was born February 11, 1961, to her loving parents, Gary and Donna White in Bradenton, Fl. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her three sisters Geraldine (Preston) Holly, Brenda (Audie) Rhoden, and Buni (Devin) Calloway and their families.

Debbie married the love of her life, Robert “Gene” Britt, on January 26, 1980. Together, they have three children: Jamie (Jennifer) Britt, Levi (Sarah) Britt, and Nicki Britt (Gary) and eight grandchildren: Austin Britt (Ramie) , Ty (Summer) Britt, Toby Britt (Michelle), Landon Zastrow (Maddie), Samuel Britt, Dayton Sanders, Waylon Britt, and Charlee Britt. Her grandkids were her greatest blessings.

Debbie started her career with Marion County Public Schools working in the cafeteria. She spent the last twenty years of her career as a Teacher’s Assistant (Paraprofessional) at East Marion Elementary School. She loved working with children, and many greeted her as “Memaw” when she passed them in the halls.

Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends. It seemed like every weekend she would send a message to her children to say she had ”supper cooking” and to “ride over”. She loved a crowd on her front porch. She loved music – especially Loretta Lynn - and she loved to dance.  She loved spending time in the woods hunting, camping, fishing, swimming, and enjoying nature. She was always ready to go on a road trip to anywhere. She loved to take the back roads. Her family will treasure these adventures with her forever.  Debbie was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Graveside Services will be on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Gore Cemetery, 5575 Northeast 138th Avenue Road, Silver Springs, FL 34488.
