Obituary of John Jackson Jones

John Jackson Jones, 82, of Ocala, Florida passed away May 27, 2022, at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Mary Ann Jones for 61 years. John was born December 3, 1939, in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Charles E. and Thelma Jones. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was retired from Weirton Steel mill. He was a member of the Blue Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason in Steubenville, OH and member of the Shrine Club and a Life Member of the Moose Lodge. John is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Jones and sons, Mark William Jones and his wife Barbara of Locust Grove, VA, and Richard Thomas Jones of Mesa, AZ. He has 2 grandchildren, Trey Nicholas Jones and Sagan Lee Brummett, and 1 great granddaughter, Ryan Lee Brummett. He is survived by brothers, Roger L. Jones of Troy, OH and Paul Gregory Jones of Wintersville, OH and preceded in death by brothers, Edwin Jones of Steubenville, OH, and Allan W. Jones of WV. Services will be private.
