Obituary of Cara Lee Martin

Cara Lee Martin, 75, of Ocala, Florida passed away at her home on March 29, 2022. She was born June 26, 1946, the daughter of the late Leo Williams and Adalene Rizzo. Cara Lee was a native of Elkhart, Indiana before moving to the Ocala area in 1971. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Belleview and enjoyed going to different prayer groups and bible studies in her free time. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her lifelong friend, Lorraine. When asked recently what things she was most proud of in life, she stated her 3 children, what they’ve turned out to be, and the children that they have raised.  Her favorite thing in life was spending time with family. She was a beloved friend, mother, grandmother, and soon to be great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Cara Lee is survived by her children, Terry (Mary) Templeton, Tracy (Mike) Tuck, and Carin (Louis) Biondi; grandchildren, Trace, Drew, and Kailey Templeton, Giovanni and Siena Biondi, Jacob Nelson, Hunter Tuck (Shelby Mullins) and Hazel (Mason) Gaddis; as well as numerous adored cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Martin; and child Michael Templeton.

A memorial service for Cara Lee will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (910 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470) on Sunday, April 3 at 2:00pm. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angioma Alliance at angioma.org/Donate.
