Obituary of Thomas Alfred Treherne

Thomas Alfred Treherne, 56, of Ocala, Florida passed away at Brandley Hospice House on March 17, 2022. He was born December 15, 1965, the son of the late Thomas Harrison and Areatha Molly (Wescott) Treherne. Thomas was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before joining the Air Force in 1988. He spent 24 years proudly serving his country before his retirement in 2012 when he then settled in the Ocala area. Following his retirement from the military, Thomas worked for Dunnellon High School as a classroom paraprofessional. He resigned from Dunnellon due to health constraints in September of 2021. Thomas, lovingly known as Tommy by family and friends, loved the LORD. He was a baptized member of Iglesia Jehova Shammah Church of Ocala. Tommy’s personal prayer of faith was derived from scripture Psalms 121. LORD, I will lift, mine eyes, to the hills knowing my help is coming from you. Your peace, you give me, in time of the storm. You are the source of my strength! You are the strength of my life! I lift my hands in total praise to You. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen!

 

Thomas is survived by his son, Nathan; his sister, Sharon Treherne; and a host of family and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Angelo Christopher Treherne.   

 

 

A service for Thomas will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 25 at Iglesia Jehova Shammah (1240 SE County Highway 484, Ocala, FL 34480). Visitation will be held that day from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow beside his son at Highland Memorial Park.
