Obituary of Larry Powers

Larry Powers, 67 of Ocala, Florida passed away in Ocala on August 21^st, 2021.

Larry was born October 8^th, 1953 in La Rochelle, France where his father was in the military. They relocated to Feura Bush, NY where Larry grew up.  He worked at Atlantic Cement and was a part time firefighter and EMT with the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Company.

Larry relocated to Ocala, Florida in the late 90’s where he met and married his wife of 19 years, Debbie Drudge-Powers. Larry was employed by Old Dominion Freight as a driver and attended Ocala Christian Church.

Larry is survived by his wife Debbie Drudge-Powers, son Zach, sister Pamela Powers-Shufelt, nieces Sayre and Stefani, nephews Adam and Christopher, all of NY, and grandkids Dominic, BJ, Alexis, and Breauna of Florida.   He also has cousins and other extended family in both Florida and New York.

There will be a Celebration of Life outdoors for friends and family on October 9, 2021 from 4pm -7pm at the Liles residence at 515 NE 42^nd St., Ocala, FL 34479.
