Michael Kantz

Obituary of Michael Allen Kantz

Michael Allen Kantz, 67, of Ocala, Florida passed away at West Marion Hospital, on April 13, 2021, after suffering for several months from an aggressive illness. He was born September 27, 1953, the son of Edward Kantz and the late Pauline (Yarbrough) Kantz. Michael was a native of Elkhart, Indiana before moving to Ocala, FL in the summer of 1971. In 1972, Mike married the love of his life, Sherri, and together the two shared almost 50 years of love and happiness, raising a family of three children. Mike was a highly talented and meticulous artist and designer, who enjoyed a successful and versatile career throughout most of his life, in that capacity. In the past decade, his work shifted to science and technology in the energy sector, implementing magnets and other experimental materials for innovations with batteries, chargers, and generators. He has a vast following of 80K+on his YouTube page, PMMG4HYBRID, for his company, Quanta Magnetics, selling his products all over the world. Every aspect of Mike’s company, from the products themselves, to the website, to even the packaging of products, were created from the ground up, by himself, alone. Mike always went above and beyond in the quality of his work, his entire life. Mike was a very loving and dedicated husband and father to his family, and would always do anything for them.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Sherri; his daughter, Sarah; his son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Susana; and grandchildren, Sam and Mia.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline (Yarbrough) Kantz; and son, Jonathan Kantz.

Per the family’s request, no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe link on Sarah or Sherri’s Facebook pages, or to Sarah’s Zelle or Venmo accounts.
