Obituary of Betty Jane Hall

Betty Jane Hall, 95, of Ocala, Florida passed away March 19, 2021 at Ocala Regional Medical Center Ocala, Florida.

Betty was born in Huntington, West Virginia a daughter of the late James and Maggie Hall. She was a Veteran of the US Navy, a member of the American Legion Post 284, Waves National Unit 99, a member of The Eastern Star Chapter 8 in Huntington, WV, past Commander of the American Legion and Past President of the Waves.  Prior to her retirement she worked for Owens Illinois Glass as a Chief Quality Control officer. She was a member of the Belleview United Methodist Church, Belleview, FL.

Betty is survived by brother, E. Frank Hall of Crescent Springs, KY, and sisters, Eva Maynard of Ocala, FL and Margaret  McClellan of East Lynn, WV and niece, Beverly  Jarvis of Ocala, FL. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Patricia Stewart of Huntington, WV, Ritch Hall of Crescent Springs, KY, Roger Hall and Donald N. Maynard of Ocala, FL, Jeff Hall, Gina Smith and Kim Hall, all of Sikeston, MO, Delores Coleman of Rabun, GA and Rita Long of Lexington, KY.  She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10AM. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
