Obituary of Jean Frances Owen

Rodney Lee Ice, 53, of Washington, DC, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.  Rodney was born in Washington, D.C. to Lee and Sharon Ice. 

 

Rodney was a talented master electrician who launched his career at the General Services administration in Washington, D.C. where he fostered lasting relationships with people throughout the Federal Government and from there began working for himself.

 

Rodney was known for his good sense of humor and love of music.  From a young age he had a natural talent for playing the piano.  Rodney enjoyed the company of others, loved socializing and helping out wherever he could. 

 

Rodney brought light and power to the homes of many and was beloved far and wide by his friends from FEMA and Homeland Security, friends throughout South East D.C., and Pastor Mitchell from Evangel Assembly in Temple Hills, MD.

 

Rodney is survived by 2 daughters; Danielle Ice and Brianna Grimes, grandson Micah Hursey, his parents Lee and Sharon Ice, sister Olwyn Ice and nephew Cory Gardner.

 

A memorial service which was planned at at Souls Harbor First Pentecostal Church located at 12650 SE County Hwy 484, Belleview, FL  34420, has been postponed until further notice.
