Obituary for Prentice Kellems

 

Prentice Kellems, 89, of Summerfield, Florida passed away June 17, 2020 at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Anettea Kellems for 67 years.

 

Prentice was born in Marion, Indiana a son of the late Prentice and Della Kellems. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War.  Prior to his retirement he was a Machinist at McLouth Steel in Trenton, Michigan.

 

Prentice will be deeply missed by his wife, Anettea and sons, Prentice Dale Kellems and his wife Colleen of Hollywood, FL, Phillip Randall Kellems and his wife Pam of Erie, MI, and Gregory Alan Kellems of Oxnard, CA.  He was the proud Grandfather to Todd, Bonnie, Kyle and Cathleen.  The Great Grandfather to Grace, Landon, Olivia and Samantha. Siblings, Mary Pearl Johnson, Billy Lain and Norman Lain.

 

The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Summerfield on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the Funeral services will be at 11:00AM. Interment will be at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield, FL.  Arrangements entrusted to the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420.  Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com
