Elizabeth Ann Tillman

Elizabeth Ann Tillman, 86, of Summerfield, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Elizabeth was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up there and Bay St. Louis, MS with her parents Fortune Jaubert Fucich and Eleanor May (Hyams) Fucich. She was a long term resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast before Hurricane Katrina displaced her to Florida.

 

Elizabeth was of Roman Catholic faith, and enjoyed memberships with the Gulfport, MS Elks Club and Mardi Gras Krewe with which she became Queen Fidelity XXXI,  the Summerfield, FL Spruce Creek Golf Club, and the Pass Christian, MS Yacht Club and Golf Country Club.  She loved playing golf and coaching softball. Her favorite activities were participating in Mardi Gras events, cruising the Caribbean, and enjoying family gatherings during special holidays.

 

Elizabeth’s predeceased husband was Alfred Tillman of Pass Christian, MS. She is survived by her sisters Linda Hoover, Lollie Eleuterius, partner Huey Arceneaux, sons Larry Tillman, Evan Tillman, Scott Tillman, and daughter Katherine (Tillman) Vogt; grandsons Jeffrey Tillman, Garrett Tillman; granddaughters Monica Tillman, Katherine (Tillman) Rogers, Amber Tillman, Audrey Tillman, Sophia Tillman; and great-grandchildren Anne Sydney Tillman, Hunter Tillman, Dillon Myers, Nicolas Segretto, Ethan Tillman, Abel Rogers and Aubree Rogers.

 

Arrangements will be announced this summer regarding a memorial graveside burial and celebration of life at the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
