Obituary of Gricell Rivera

Gricell Rivera, 70, of Ocala, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019.  Gricell was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Antonio and Francisca Rios, the oldest of their 5 children.  She moved to Ocala seven years ago from Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.  She was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was an active member of Ocala Tower of Prayer Church, loved her family and enjoyed gardening.

Gricell is survived by 5 children; Elisabel Rivera, Jackie Rivera, Jose Rivera, Melissa Torres, and Alex Rivera, 13 grandchildren; Sasha-Lee Reyes, Kenny Mejia, Agustin Rodriguez, Evalese Bonilla, Anthony Bonilla, Jocelyn Bonilla, Kayla Rivera, Andrew Benitez, Jenesis Rivera, Fabian Alvarado, Tommy Alvarado, Alyza Mejias, and Aracely Rivera, and 15 great grandchildren; Kai-Lee, Kloee, Kali, Jayden, Josias, Angel, Athon, Anthony Jr., Abriel, Jahrelli, Jayvien, Kaylin, Zoey, Ivey Rose, and Fabian Jr.

Visitation will be 6-8pm on Thursday, October 3^rd at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala.  Funeral will be 10:00am Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
