Obituary of Dennis W. Thorne

Born Oct. 17, 1946 in Morgantown, WV; died Sep. 21, 2019 in The Villages, FL.  He was an avid golfer who enjoyed the courses every day.  Lt. Col Thorne proudly served our country in the US Army Reserve.  He is survived by his wife Sally Thorne of Leesburg, FL; daughter Diana Thorne of Buffalo, NY, son Donald (Amy) Thorne of Lancaster, NY; grandchildren Matthew and Hope Thorne; brothers William Thorne, Ronald Thorne; and sister Myra Small.  Graveside service will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
