Obituary of Catherine D'Ambrosio

Catherine D'Ambrosio, 99, of The Villages, Florida passed peacefully on April 25, 2019, at Brookdale Place at Freedom Pointe, The Villages, Florida. She was the wife of the late Dolfino D’Ambrosio who preceded her on April 18, 2015.

Catherine was born in Brooklyn, New York, the fourth child and first daughter of fourteen brothers and sisters of the late Mary and Francisco Buro. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, The Villages, FL.  She loved to travel and did so with her husband, daughter Karen and son-in-law, Gordon Tynes.

Catherine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gordon Tynes of The Villages, FL, sister, Theresa  Tricarico of Little River, SC, brother, Joseph Buro of  Valley Stream, NY.,  as well as many loving nieces and nephews across the United States.

The family will receive friends at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment will be private at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.  Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
