Obituary of Albert Philip Monahan

Albert Philip Monahan, 83, of The Villages, Florida passed away April 3, 2019 at his home in The Villages, Florida. He was the husband of the late Marilyn Ann Monahan who preceded him on March 21, 2012.

Albert was born in Yonkers, New York a son of the late James and Anna Monahan. Prior to his retirement he was a manager for Consolidated Edison Electric in New York for 44 years.  He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield, FL.  Albert was a member of the Korean War Veterans Club.  He enjoyed playing golf and was the Past President and founder of the Con Edison Retiree Club of The Villages.

Albert is survived by daughter, Debora Monahan of Canton, GA

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield, followed by interment at the Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Marine Corps League.
