Obituary of Edward Steve Wagner

Edward Steve Wagner, resident of the Villages, Florida, formerly of Harmony Township, Pennsylvania,

and Orlando, FL, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. He

was 85 years old.

Edward was born on September 2, 1933 to Anna & Steve Wagner. He was raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Ambridge High School. He worked alongside his wife Veronica,

building a successful auto salvage business. He then moved to Orlando and along with 3 of his children,

started a prosperous auto parts business.

In addition to raising six children, Ed had a unique zest for life. He played golf, cards, bowled, and

belonged to several clubs. He traveled extensively, often times taking all of his children, their spouses,

and grandchildren on cruises He was very outgoing and generous to a fault, never neglecting to hand out

several $2 bills!

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Anna & Stephen Wagner, and by his wife of 63 and ¾ years,

Veronica (Vee). He will be sadly missed by his children, Edward Jr. (Cindi), Karen Little (George), James

Wagner (Sonna), Monica Taylor (Glenn), Ramona Sangermano (Jim), Gregory Wagner (Renee), 14

grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, his siblings Stanley Wagner, Jean Beerman, John Wagner

(Peg), & Cecelia Cirka, and brother and sister-in-laws, Louis Sliwiak, Elia Sliwiak, and Rose Mary Sliwiak and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

When mom and dad, moved to the villages, 13 years ago, Dad had a favorite saying, “if anyone, whose never been to The Villages, visited and saw all The Villages had to offer the residents, that if they didn't like it here, they might as well not go to heaven, as they would not like it there, either.”

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 8th at the Tatalovich Funeral Home in Aliquippa,
