Obituary of Carol Fining

Carol Fining, 86, of Silver Springs, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.  Carol was born in Brooklyn, NY to Phillip and Jenny Ceparano.  She has lived in Marion County since 1988.  She worked at a doll factory in Brooklyn and married Kenneth Fining. Together they moved to Florida and helped on the family horse farm in Morriston.  A devout Catholic, Carol supported the St. Jude’s charities and prayer chains.  She enjoyed the Friday night poker games at uncle Paulie’s place, old country music like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Sr., and having company.

 

Carol was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 2003 and her daughter Diane Baker in 2006.  She is survived by her son James Fining of Silver Springs, her sister Marie Sheehe of Long Island, NY, her brothers Bruce Ceparano of Staten Island, NY, Caesar Ceparano of Spring Hill, FL, Paulie Ceparano of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ronnie Ceparano of New York, and Richard Ceparano of New York.

 

The family will be having a viewing on Wed, Oct 31st from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am, with the burial private at Florida National Cemetery.
