Obituary of Stella Presley Taylor

Born in AL, daughter of Wallace H. Gilbert & Lela Belle Bailey Gilbert, Stella moved to FL with husband Carter Hobson Presley, who preceded her in death. She was later remarried to William I. Taylor, also preceding her in death, she spent the last decades of her life in Silver Springs. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Silver Springs. She was preceded in death by her son H. Lavon Presley, a grandson & a great-grandson. Stella is survived by three daughters, B. Gail Blake, P. Ann Bryant (both of Silver Springs) and Ronda K. Hall (of Auburndale), 12 grandchildren, and a passel of great & great-great grandchildren. She loved being outdoors, and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine, plants, animals and landscapes. Join is in remembering Stella by fostering the compassionate humanity she exemplified by caring for each other and honoring family above all things, but God.

 

Visitation Hiers-Baxley on S.S. Blvd, Fri 10/12, 5-7 PM; service immediately following

Interment Glen Abbey, Auburndale, Sat 10/13, 3 PM
