Obituary of Janet Eilean Stevens

Janet Eilean Stevens, 72, of Ocala, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 6, 2018.  Janet was born in Culver, IN to Lyle and Beatrice Baker.  She moved to  Ocala in 1963 from Elkhart, IN and graduated Ocala High in 1964.  Janet was an administrative assistant with Marion County Board of County Commissioners prior to her retirement in 2013.  She also worked with Ocala Police Department.  She was a member of Free Methodist Church in Ocala.  Janet enjoyed her Bible studies, family times, holiday gatherings, sewing, and crafts.

Janet was predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Karen.

Janet is survived by her husband, Don Stevens of Ocala, FL, daughters Pam (Kevin) Klipstein of Ocala, Rhonda (John) Johnson of Ocala, Lori (Chris) Nelson of Valrico, FL, and Amy (Larry) Boyce of Williston, FL, 11 grandchildren; JP (Alecia), Heather (Johnathan), and Austin, Holli, Dalton, and Brandon, Audrey, and Sarah, Hunter (Amy), Joshua, and Savannah, 1 great granddaughter Ashton Stevens, 3 sisters; Beverly, Lois, and Patricia, and 4 brothers; Lyle, Randall, Ron, and Dan, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the chapel at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Giddeons, To make a gift by phone, call toll-free 1-866-382-4253
