Obituary for Raymond Hyatt

 

Raymond Hyatt, 93, of Summerfield, Florida passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018.  He was the husband of Florence Hyatt for 68 years.

 

Ray was born in Raeford, North Carolina, the son of Willie and Celie (Herring) Hyatt. Prior to his retirement, he lived in Brevard County and was a Manager with RCA at the Eastern Test Range. He moved close to family and fulfilled his dream of owning land and raising cattle.  As an avid water skier, scuba diver and tennis player, he shared his love of water activities and the outdoors with the entire family.

 

Ray is survived by his wife, Florence and daughters, Marlene Bjork and her husband, Robert of Summerfield, FL, Barbara Carnival and her husband Roy of Summerfield, FL and son, Don Hyatt and his wife Teresa of Apollo Beach, FL. He was the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Norman Hyatt, Robert Bjork, Jordan Bjork, Lily Carnival, Joseph Hyatt, Jacob Hyatt and Michael Hyatt.  Raymond has five great grandchildren, Kyron Hyatt, Tyler, Ryder, Finley and Violet Bjork.

 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Crum Cemetery, Summerfield, FL with Military Honors provided by the Belleview VFW Post 8083.
