Obituary of Betty Joann Harris

Betty Joann Harris-86 gently passed from this world at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida on Sunday, June 3rd 2018. 

Betty was a long time active member of Orange Lake Baptist Church in Orange Lake, Florida and, most

recently, a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Her greatest joy in life was being with her family and spending time with her great grandchildren. 

Betty is survived by her children, Thomas Patrick Harris and Laurie Olivia Masters, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed. May her soul be at peace, now and forever. 

A memorial service for Betty will be held on Monday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley funeral home, located at 910 E Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, Florida. Her internment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, Florida.
