Obituary of Gloria Ramos

Gloria Ramos, age 90, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018.  Gloria was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to Braulio and Engracia Fonseca.  She moved to Ocala in 1994.  Gloria loved gardening, reading her bible, animals, cooking, and outdoor adventures.  She was a very gentle person and very much loved by her family and special friends Edith Santana and family, Italia and the Galue family, and the Tirado family.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bernardo Ramos, sons Richard Ramos and partner Ann McLucas of Silver Springs, FL, Alberto Ramos of Ocala, daughter Nilda Thorburn and son in law Bradford Thorburn of New Bedford, Massachusetts, grandchildren Jessica Thorburn and fiancé Jeffrey Massoud, Catherine and husband Eric Keefe, and Allison Thorburn, one great granddaughter Jaelyn Massoud, and many brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico.

Visitation will be 10-11am Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of Ocala.  Funeral ceremony will begin at 11:00am with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
