A. Anthony (Tony) Muller, 70, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. Tony was born in Woodridge, New Jersey to the late Herbert and June Muller, married to his loving wife, Marguerite for 41 years. He was a highly regarded and much loved science teacher at Jefferson Township High School in Oak Ridge, NJ. Retiring after 32 years, he and Marguerite relocated to the Villages in 1999. There he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, photography and was involved in numerous clubs and activities. He also remained connected to his former students as "Dr. Science," continuing to identify all sorts of bugs and plants. Nothing pleased him more than hearing from them through social media on a daily basis. He and Marguerite had an active life in the Villages. He especially enjoyed volunteering as a driver for Operation Homebound for 17 years. He is survived by his wife Marguerite; sons Eric Muller (Heather) and Kurt Muller; brother Eric Muller (Karen); sisters Dianne Becker (Bruce), Donna Muller Spano; Aunt Doris Schroeder; grandchildren Jake and Jaret; several nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Poe and Frost. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. A gathering will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 1-2 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 2 pm, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation Buffalo Ridge, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
