Paul Richard Bigley

Paul Richard Bigley was born in Marion Ohio, December 11, 1929. His unfortunate childhood shaped his path and philanthropy till parting March 5, 2022, in The Villages, Florida. Paul and LaVada shared 63 years of marriage, two children, three grandsons and lifelong friendship with his sister in law and her husband. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War as a weather expert. He was a Chemical Engineering graduate of The Ohio State University. His career with Columbia Gas and Commonwealth Gas, in Ohio and Virginia, began as a night dispatch and culminated as President and Chairman of the Board. Paul's generosity will impact future cancer treatments and cures. How firm thy Friendship - OHIO! He was known to figure fair handicaps for his golfing foursome. Quiet, consistent, expecting effort and excellence in action. Thanks to friends John and Charlene, and the Villages VA for contributing to Paul's happiness. Interment at Bushnell National Cemetery.
