Obituary of Richard Allen Bills

Richard Allen “Dick” Bills, 72, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  Dick was born in Carson City, MI to Dennis Burdick and Ida Bills.  He moved to Ocala in 1987 from Bitely, MI.  Dick was a proud fire fighter, correctional officer, and a truck driver.  He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard.  Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed NASCAR, football, and was a devoted Gator fan. 

He was predeceased by his parents, his step-father Douglas Bills, and brothers Ransome and David Bills.  Survivors include his daughters Amy Bills and Jennifer (Justin) Davis, grandchildren Ashley, Katie, Emily, and Wyatt Davis, and family friend Marie Tenaglio. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at 6:00pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL  34470 (352)-629-7171.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association.  Online Condolences may be expressed at www.hiers-baxley.com.
