Obituary of James Ferrell Taylor

James Ferrell Taylor, 71, of Ocala Florida, passed away peacefully at his home, in the care of his brother Ralph and Hospice, on the morning of March 12, 2018.

James was born on September 18, 1946 in Ayden, NC to his parents James Franklin and Lyndell (Ferguson) Taylor. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War.

James is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry and Roy.

He is survived by his children, daughter Asha Evon (Taylor) Mcullers; son, James Taylor Jr; brothers Michael Lee Taylor, Ralph Eugene Taylor and half-brother Franklin Taylor and three grandchildren.  

The family would like to thank Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services for the honor and respect they showed James at the home after his passing and Vet’s Helping Vet’s in assisting with the coordination of military honors for his service. James will be buried with honors at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. Date and time will be announced soon.

Army Honors Detail service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida.
