Obituary of Robert A. Hoover

Robert A Hoover, 75, of Ocala, Florida passed away March 16, 2018 at 2897 SE 62nd Street, Ocala, Florida.  He was the husband of the late Patricia Hoover who preceded him in death on April 26, 2015.

Robert was born on July 31, 1942 in Portersville, Pennsylvania a son of the late Arthur and Ethel (Frederick) Hoover. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War.  Prior to his retirement he was a Supervisor of a pipe crew. During Patricias final time he devoted himself to her care and needs. Robert enjoyed relaxing  at home on his property, spending time with friends at the VFW, or golfing with his late wife. Those who had the pleasure of meeting Robert always spoke of what a tremendous person he was. He will be greatly missed by all.

Robert is survived by sons, Michael Hoover of Ocala , FL and Robert  C. Hoover of NM, daughters Venus Hoover-koran, Jennifer Miller, and Theresa Hoover, sisters Bea Olsen of  Salem, OH, Linda Baker of New Castle, PA, Lori Thompson, and brother Ronald Hoover.  Robert has 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
